The application for prospective volunteers is available for download below. Applications may also be requested via mail/email. All volunteers must submit an application and two letters of recommendation to be considered for a HELP International program.
In addition to the application and letters of recommendation, each applicant should write a brief letter of intent outlining his/her motivation for serving with HELP International and what he/she hopes to get out of the experience.
Applications are generally considered on a first-come first-serve basis, and spaces for volunteers that do not speak Spanish/Portuguese are limited.
Once your application, letters of recommendation, and letters of intent have been received by the HELP International staff, we will generally review the materials and notify you of your acceptance within a week.
After volunteers have been accepted they will be sent a packet of forms and instructions to begin preparing for their volunteer experience with HELP International. If you have any questions regarding the application process, please call the HELP office.
