Countries

In the summer of 1999, the first HELP International team, led by Lisa Jones, ventured into Honduras to help the victims of Hurricane Mitch. Since that time, we have set up programs in seven countries in the Americas. Each country has offered new adventures, new challenges, and new lessons to be learned.

Currently, HELP International is operating volunteer programs in three countries: El Salvador, Guatemala and Brazil. HELP El Salvador is our longest running program and going into its fifth summer. HELP Guatemala was established in 2002 and will be entering its third summer this next year. HELP Brazil was a pilot program during the summer of 2003 and promises to be one of our largest and most exciting programs to date.
