Program Cost
The program fee for all HELP International programs is $2750. The program fee remains the same regardless of your length of stay in-country (6 weeks to 4 months). This cost will cover all your lodging, transportation, and food expenses in-country.
The fee does not include airfare to your country which must be purchased separately. Airfare can be purchased through HELP International, and we can generally get very good rates for volunteers.
All personal expenses, including souvenirs, personal care items, and entertainment are to be paid for by volunteers.
Don't let fundraising scare you! We want to help and we have great experience in volunteer fundraising. In the past, less than 1 of fundraising volunteers have been unable to serve due to lack of funds. We do everything possible to ensure that money is not a deterrent for service!
Most volunteers choose to fundraise a portion or all of their program fee!

On occassion, HELP International receives donations from donors that want to support the efforts of our volunteers. When these funds become available, HELP International will make them available to selected individuals who have made a genuine effort to fundraise their program fee.
Generally, scholarships from donors may range from $100 to half of the program fee depending on the volunteer's need, availability of funds, and the selection process carried out by the HELP International directors.
